Hello​,​ I’m Arménio Goulart. I was born and raised on the island of Pico​,​ surrounded by the raw beauty of the Atlantic and the careful hands of my mother​,​ Lucília​,​ who taught me that art is more than just work — it’s a way of life​,​ a legacy​,​ and a language all its own. It was from her that I learned the delicate craft of traditional Pico lace​,​ a skill passed down from generation to generation​,​ thread by thread. Today​,​ we work side by side​,​ continuing to create handmade pieces that reflect not only our Azorean identity but also the care and dedication we pour into everything we do. Every item we make is created with intention — with respect for tradition and a genuine desire to connect with those who receive it. We believe handmade objects carry a different kind of energy — a story​,​ a moment​,​ a feeling.
